Having a kitchen and even a full fridge doesn’t necessarily mean you have time to cook—especially when you’re a busy college student! The good news is that you don’t have to live in the residence halls to take advantage of on-campus dining options. All students, no matter where you live, are eligible to purchase Block Meal Plans through Housing & Dining Services.

There are a variety of options that provide you with a specific number of meals (or “swipes”) per semester, plus a set amount of Munch Money (declining balance). Swipes can be used at any HDS dining center or grab-n-go venue to enjoy a meal and Munch Money can be used at any of our market/retail outlets for supplies, coffee drinks or snacks. The Locations & Hours section is a great resource that shows you all the great places you can use your swipes and Munch Money.

The meal plan is conveniently stored on your Buff OneCard, can be purchased any time of the year and is considerably less expensive than eating out—costing approximately $7.00 per meal.
