Residence Hall Re-Application Process

The re-application process is for CU Boulder students that are currently living in the residence halls that would like to apply to continue living in the halls next academic year. Space will be extremely limited for the 2018-19 academic year. If you are unsure or have any questions, please contact us at studenthousing@colorado.edu or 303-492-6673.

  • Current residence hall students interested in applying for residence hall housing will need to submit an application during the submission timeframe.
  • The application will allow students to select hall preferences and request specific room numbers and roommates. A random selection process will determine who will be offered a housing assignment, and the student will then have a limited amount of time to submit a completed housing contract.
  • Any student who did not receive a housing assignment will be placed on a waitlist and offered space that becomes available through March 15.
  • The returning student process ends March 15, and any student without an assignment will not be receiving residence hall housing.
  • Students who did not receive residence hall housing, transfer and non-first year freshman should seek alternative housing with Bear Creek Apartments or Off-Campus Housing and Neighborhood Relations. Residence hall housing will only be available to first-year incoming freshman after January 30, 2018.
